LRT, the Lithuanian national broadcaster, has unveiled the forty competing acts at the forthcoming Lithuanian national selection – EUROVIZIJA.LT 2026.
The 2026 Lithuanian national selection will consist of up to 6 semi-finals and 1 Grand Final depending on the amount of songs submitted. Recordings for the semi-finals will kick off on 14 January, whilst the EUROVIZIJA 2026 Grand Final is scheduled to be held on Saturday 27 February at the Twinsbet Arena in Vilnius.

Adrius Girzadas (Lithuanian HoD/ LRT Chief Producer) says:
Every year we feel the interest of creators and performers – the national selection becomes a space where very different genres and generations meet. Selecting the songs was not easy: we wanted the program to reflect both bright names loved by the audience and new voices that could surprise the whole of Europe.
Lithuania in Eurovision
Lithuania debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 and is yet to win the event. The country achieved its best result at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 when it placed 6th. Lithuania has competed 25 times at our beloved contest.
In 2025 Katarsis represented the Baltic nation at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel with their entry ‘Tavo Akys’.
