ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster has set the date for the Eurovision 2026 voluteers recruitment.

The City of Vienna and ORF are looking for circa 800 volunteers for Eurovision 2026. The date for the ESC 2026 Volunteers registration has been set on 1 December 2025. The process will kick off via the  songcontest.ORF.at

Volunteers are required to speak fluent German and English and should be available from 27 April-17 May 2026. The volunteers will assume various roles and will be working at various locations: the Wiener Stadthalle, Vienna Airport, Delegation Bubble, Media Centre, Eurovision Village, Information Desks, Vienna City Hall, Vienna City Hal Square etc.

Volunteers will be provided with accident insurance, meals and uniform.

Requirements:

  • Legal age at the time of application
  • Good German and English skills; additional languages ​​are an advantage.
  • Participation in a casting call
  • Availability between April 27 and May 17, 2026

Have you always wanted to go behind the scenes of a major event and support it through your volunteer work? Experience next year’s biggest TV event up close and sign up as a volunteer. The selection process for all interested parties starts on December 1st.

In 2026, the Eurovision Song Contest will once again be held under the motto “united by music.” For this celebration of music, motivated, environmentally conscious, enthusiastic, friendly, and empathetic people are being sought.

Whether you’re creative, organizational, or communicative – with us, you’ll find the perfect place for your volunteer work. Volunteers are involved in various areas, such as the press center, information desks, the town hall, the town hall square, or the airport.

The tasks you will undertake depend on your own interests as well as the casting interview. Volunteers are covered by accident insurance during their stay and receive meals and a uniform.

The 2026 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 12, 14, 16 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
