CyBC, the Cypriot national broadcaster, has annouced that Antigioni will have the grand honour of representing Cyprus at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.

We have the very first Eurovision 2026 act! Cyprus is the very first country to unveil its Eurovision 2026 act.

Cyprus has once again selected its Eurovision act and entry via an internal selection. Antigioni will defend the Cypriot colours at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Austria next year!

The London born Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter has gained much fame and name in the United Kingdom. She was born and raised in London.

Named after her Grandmother, Antigoni signed a publishing deal at age 14, and has since been developing a powerfully original sound that incorporates her cultural roots with her city based surroundings. It’s not uncommon for listeners to note the contrasting influence of Hip-Hop, Pop & Bouzouki music all in a single track of hers.

This mix of genres & combining of Antigoni’s worlds, results in a unique new sound but with a universally familiar tone; representing her heritage with a palpable sense of pride over modern soundscapes. Antigoni has grown her audience & solidified herself as an artist to watch, having been a prominent artist in Nikos Vertis’ YTON. Combining this with her incredibly strong voice & evocative lyrics, Antigoni has been touted as a key musician to watch in 2025.

More details regarding the Cypriot Eurovision 2026 project and song will be unveiled in due time.
