ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, has announced that Alice Tumler will host the forthcoming Austrian national final- ‘Vienna Calling-
Alice Tumler co-hosted the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with Conchita Wurst, Arabella Kiesbauer and Mirjam Weichselbraun. She will have the grand honour of hosting the 2026 Austrian national final- ‘Vienna Calling’, scheduled to be held in Vienna on 20th February.
The song submission window for ‘Vienna Calling’ will close on 15th of October. A total of 10 acts will battled in the Austrian national final for the golden ticket to ESC 2026.
Austria has opted for a televised national final in order to select the Austrian 2026 Eurovision entry and act.
Austria wil be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time in the history of the competition. The 2026 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 12, 14 and 16 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
