Estonia has kicked off its preparations for Eesti Laul 2026. ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster has published the Eesti Laul 2026 rules and regulations.
The song submission window for Eesti Laul 2026 has opened today with the deadline set on 20th October 2026. A total of 12 acts will compete in the Estonian national final. Eesti Laul 2026 is scheduled to be held on Saturday 14th February 2026.
Artists wishing to compete at Eesti Laul 2026 can submit their entries to ERR here.
The 2026 Estonian Eurovision entry will be determined via two rounds: during the first round a total of three songs will be selected via a jury/public voting deliberation, hereafter during the second round of voting aka the superfinal the winner will be determined solely by the Estonian audience via televoting.
Estonia at Eurovision
Estonia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 and has won the event once, namely in 2001. The Baltic nation has competed 30 times in the competition. In 2025 Tommy Cash represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with his mega hit ‘Espresso Macchiato’ achieving an honorable 3rd place in the Grand Final in Basel.
