The majestic Viennesse City Hall is located in the heart of the Austrian capital, namely on the Ringstrasse and in close proximity to many of the city’s epic attractions and sights.

The Eurovision 2025 Welcome Reception and Opening Party is scheduled to be held at the Vienna City Hall on Sunday 10 May. Hence the Turquoise Carpet will be also more than likely located within the premises on the Rathausplatz as was the case in 2015.

The Vienna Rathaus will be also serving as the 2026 Euroclub and the adjacent square outside will be the location for the Eurovision Village.

What will happenĀ at the Turquoise Carpet?

During the Turquoise Carpet event, competing acts at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest will be able to meet and greet their fans and the assembled press. The 2026 Eurovision hopefuls will be seen in their best attire and designer outfits.

At the opening ceremony, the Mayor of Vienna and officials from ORF, EBU and the City of Vienna will officially welcome the 2026 Eurovision participating countries, delegations and artists to Vienna.
