ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster and ESC 2026 host broadcaster has unveiled some details on the forthcoming 2026 Eurovision Song Contest key timeline dates.

Preparations for Eurovision 2026 in Austria are in full swing as ORF is working round the clock from strength to strength to showcase an extraordinary show come May.

ORF has unveiled the key milestones leading up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in May:

    • August 2025Eurovision Host City reveal
    • September 2025- Eurovision 2026 Participants List reveal
    • December 2025Eurovision 2026 Ticket Sales kick off
    • January 2026Eurovision 2026 Semi-final Allocation Draw/ Host City Handover Ceremony
    • February 2026Eurovision 2026 Postcards filming kicks off
    • April 2026Eurovision 2026 stage construction kicks off
    • May 2026Eurovision 2026 three live televised shows

The ESC 2026 will be held in Austria thanks to JJ’s epic Eurovision victory last May in Basel.

The 2026 Eurovision will be either held on 12, 14 and 16 May  or on 19, 21 and 23 May. The dates will be officially confirmed on the day the ESC 2026 Host City will be unveiled.
