The supremely talented UK’s Eurovision 1997 winner, Katrina Leskanich (Katrina and the Waves), will will be flying to the sunny shores of Malaga in October to grace the 19th annual OGAE Spain Congress.
Katrina Leskanich represented the UK as part of the musical band Katrina and the Waves at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 in Dublin with their massive hit ‘Love Shine A Light‘ giving the United Kingdom its very fifth Eurovision victory.
Katrina was born in Texas, USA and moved to the United Kingdom where she pursued her musical career as part of the band Katrina & The Waves. She has a great reportoire behind her including the international global hit ‘Walking On Sunshine‘ and her Eurovision winning entry ‘Love Shine A Light’.
She will be joining Mihai Traistariu and Emilija Krokic in the grand line up of Eurovision acts scheduled to attend the event.
A grand line up of Eurovision royalty are expected to land in Malaga for the upcoming 19th OGAE Spain Congress. The event has become an annual rendez vous where the Spanish Eurovision fans are treated to the best of Eurovision music, they get to meet and greet their favourite acts and witness amazing performances.
This year the OGAE Spain Congress will be travelling south to the magnificent city of Malaga on the shores of the Mediterranean sea for the second consecutive year. The event will be held on Saturday 4th October at the Edgar Neville Auditorium.
