The multi facetted Yugoslavian Eurovision 1989 winner, Emilija Kokić (RIVA), will will be flying to the sunny shores of Malaga in October to grace the 19th annual OGAE Spain Congress.

Emilija Kokic represented Yugoslavia as part of the musical band RIVA at the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 in Lausanne with their mega hit ‘Riva‘ giving Yugoslavia its very first Eurovision victory. Emilija hails from the beautiful Croatian coastal city of Zadar.

Two years later the band RIVA disbanded coinciding with the break up of Yugoslavia in 1991, Emilija kicked off a solo career in Croatia.

She has competed several times in the Croatian national selection for ESC, Dora and is a household name in Croatia having released several albums and singles as a solo artist.

She will be joining Mihai Traistariu in the grand line up of Eurovision acts scheduled to attend the event.

A grand line up of Eurovision royalty are expected to land in Malaga for the upcoming 19th OGAE Spain Congress. The event has become an annual rendez vous where the Spanish Eurovision fans are treated to the best of Eurovision music, they get to meet and greet their favourite acts and witness amazing performances.

This year the OGAE Spain Congress will be travelling south to the magnificent city of Malaga on the shores of the Mediterranean sea for the second consecutive year. The event will be held on Saturday 4th October at the Edgar Neville Auditorium.
