The 2026 Swiss Eurovision entry and act will be determined via the same mechanism which has been used in previous years- a multi stage public and expert jury deliberation. The 2025 Swiss song selection for Eurovision will be jointly organized by SRF, RTS, RTR and RSI.
The 2026 Swiss Eurovision act and entry will be unveiled by early 2026.
SRF’s official press release reads:
From now until the evening of August 25, musicians, songwriters and producers can submit their potential songs for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Austria and thus apply for the most important music stage in the world.
After the ESC is before the ESC: Less than three months after the brilliant finale in Basel, the search for Switzerland’s Eurovision entry for 2026 has already begun. Acts, songwriters, and producers have the opportunity to submit their songs from now until 11:00 PM on August 25th.
One of the uploaded songs will ultimately be performed on the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 stage in Austria. And hopefully, it will bring Switzerland similar ESC success to the entries from previous editions.
