The 2019 Greek Eurovision representative, Katerine Duska, has released a new single ‘Melancholia’.

Katerine Duska is back in the game with a fresh new single ‘Melancholia‘. The song has been composed by Katerine Duska, and Daniel Elliot Pashman. Katerine Duska is behind the lyrics of her new song. Anu Pillai, Daniel Pashman  have produced ‘Melancholia’. Katerine’s new single has been released by Panik Records in Greece.

The multi facetted Greek singer has gained name, fame and recognition since her Eurovision debut back in 2019.

Panik Record’s official press release reads:

Katerine Duska releases “Melancholia” , the third single from her long-awaited new album, following the popular “Sunshine” and “Burnout” that both charted in the UK. In fact, with “Melancholia”, Katerina Duska made the cover and the top spot of New Music Friday, Spotify’s most important list of new releases.

“ Melancholia ,” available digitally via Panik Records, is a mid-tempo, ethereal pop track that captures the emotional blur of sad girl summer — where melancholy meets warmth. With breathy, nostalgic vocals and dreamy production, it explores the quiet beauty of chronic sadness and healing love.

Ideal for nighttime journeys and emotional daydreams, “Melancholia” , written and recorded one summer in Los Angeles where Katerine Duska lived, is placed in the same musical space as artists such as Lana Del Rey and Addison Rae, combining chill pop aesthetics with personal lyrics that float between vulnerability and hope.

The official press release concludes:

The lyrics are written by herself as well as the music together with Daniel Elliot Pashman and the production is by Anu Pillai (Lewis Capaldi, Lana del Rey) and Daniel Elliot Pashman.

While “Melancholia” is coming to captivate us, Katerine Duska continues her assault on the British charts, something that few Greek artists have achieved.

Specifically, these days his previous single “Burnout”, in which he collaborates with Eleni Foureira, is in the top 10 of the UK Commercial Pop Chart, while months ago “Sunshine” reached number 6 on the Upfront Club Chart.
