About the show
The three co-hosts are ready to take the audience and the millions of viewers in Europe, Australia and beyond through some four hours of musical entertainment. The show opens with the usual flag parade and the performance of the 2025 winning entry The code with Eurovision darling Nemo.
The winner of Eurovision 2025 will be determined 50% by the national juries who already voted during last night’s evening preview, and 50% by the televote in all 37 competing countries plus the Rest of the world.
The interval act
After all 26 performances the show will continue with the special appearance of several former Eurovision entrants. First and foremost the Swiss will be presenting some of their Eurovision legacy, from Peter, Sue & Marc (1971, 1976, 1979 and 1981), Paola del Medico (1969 and 1980), Luca Hänni (2019) and Gjon’s Tears (2020 and 2021). Further to this, Eurovision reigning champion Nemo will be on stage for an electric and eclectic performance.
Finally, the audience will be delighted to watch a musical battle between Eurovision stars Baby Lasagna (Croatia, 2024) and Käärijä (Finland, 2023). Eurofans will also enjoy a performance from Sandra Studer of her own Canzone per te (Switzerland, 1991), as well as from Michelle Hunziker with Nel blu dipinto di blu (Italy, 1958).
Just before closing the televote and moving on to the voting procedure, a moment will be dedicated to Céline Dion, fueling speculations on her actual presence in Basel.
