With Eurovision 2025 just around the corner, Spotify is turning up the volume with five brand new Spotify Singles. Featuring reimagined covers of iconic Eurovision songs, this exclusive release unites voices from across the continent.

As excitement builds for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, Spotify has unveiled a special collection of Spotify Singles celebrating the event’s spirit of unity and music. Five artists from five different European countries have covered memorable Eurovision hits of recent years, bringing new life to beloved classics.

According to Spotify, its official Eurovision 2025 playlist has already been streamed over 6.7 million hours across Europe since February. In line with this surge of interest, Spotify’s new Singles project echoes the contest’s 2025 theme: United by Music.

The artists and their covers include:

  • Nemo (Switzerland): Satellite (originally by Lena, Germany’s 2010 winner)
  • Loreen (Sweden): Arcade (Duncan Laurence, Netherlands 2019)
  • Marina Satti (Greece): Saudade, saudade (Maro, Portugal 2022) – retitled Fovame
  • BABIE LATO (Poland): Tattoo (Loreen, Sweden 2023)
  • ENNIO (Germany): Wunder gibt es immer wieder (Katja Ebstein, Germany 1970)

All five singles were recorded at Spotify Studios in Stockholm and are now available to stream exclusively on Spotify.

“Reimagining Duncan Laurence’s ‘Arcade’ into something you can move through—both emotionally and physically—has been a beautiful journey,” said Loreen, Eurovision legend and two-time winner.

“I’m thrilled to share my extraterrestrial spin on Lena’s ‘Satellite’,” added Nemo, who brought victory to Switzerland last year.

Spotify Singles is the platform’s flagship original music program, now boasting nearly 1,000 exclusive recordings. Since its inception, it has partnered with more than 750 artists across 45 markets, accumulating over 10 billion streams.

The initiative also highlights the impact Eurovision has on music discovery and artist exposure. Spotify notes a significant increase in cross-border streams for Eurovision artists following the contest.

“Although the contest takes place over a week, it provides a launch pad for some of Europe’s brightest artists,” said Federica Tremolada, EU General Manager at Spotify. “Our new Spotify Singles series aims to unite Europeans across countries and generations.”
