AVROTROS, the Dutch national broadcaster, has announced that Chantal Janzen (Eurovision 2021 hostess) will be the Dutch spokesperson at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel.

Chantal Janzen co-hosted Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam with Jan Smit, Edsilia Rombley and Nikkie Tutorials.

Chantal will have the grand honour of announcing the jury’s votes during the Eurovision 2025 Grand Final.

Chantal Janzen says:

When the four of us presented the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021, the scoring was one of the highlights to do. It is the moment that it is all about in the end and it is a tough part of the show for the presenters. Besides the fact that I find it an honor to be on the other side of the screen this year, I am especially looking forward to a great performance by our Claude.

AVTROTROS’s official press release reads:

Chantal Janzen will present the points of the Dutch professional jury at the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland on Saturday, May 17.

In 2021, Chantal was on the other side of the screen when she, together with Jan Smit, supervised the counting of points at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. Now, on behalf of the Netherlands, she may convey ”Our twelve points go to…” to the more than 160 million viewers of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The Eurovision Song Contest final will be broadcast on Saturday 17 May on AVROTROS this year. Claude will perform in the first semi-final on Tuesday 13 May and will do everything he can to qualify for the grand final with his song ‘C’est La Vie’.
