SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, has confirmed the names of the Eurovision 2025 Swedish commentators.
Edward Af Sillen and Petra Mede (Eurovision 2013, 2016, 2024 host) will have the grand honour of commentating the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 for the Swedish audience. Edward af Sillen will commentate the semi-finals solo, whilst during the Grand Final he will be joined by Petra Mede.
Petra will be the Swedish Eurovision commentator for the very first time, having hosted the event thrice on home soil, whilst Edward Af Sillen will be commentating for the 14th time.
Petra Mede says:
This is the first time I have had the honor of commentating on the Eurovision Song Contest, but thankfully it is not the first time I have had the honor of working with Edward. The former makes me excited and excited, the latter makes me feel safe and overjoyed.
Edward Af Sillen says:
I would like to thank you most warmly for the trust in once again guiding the TV viewers through the most fun music competition of the year. As usual, we do it with a lot of humor and love for the program. It also looks like it will be extra thrilling and sweaty for us Swedes this year when KAJ pours water on the generator and steams towards a medal place. And to finally have my laughing sister Petra in the booth, what a joy!

Sweden will compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Semi-final 1 on May 13th. All three Eurovision shows will be broadcast in Sweden on SVT 1.
KAJ will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with their entry ‘Bara Bada Bastu’.
