Another date to mark in the 2019 Eurovision calendar: Serhat Hacıpaşalıoğlu will unveil his song for San Marino on 7 March!
Turkish singer and television personality Serhat is preparing himself to once again represent San Marino at Eurovision. While keeping the details under wraps, we do know when the artist’s entry for Tel Aviv will be presented: Thursday 7 March 2019.
The press release by broadcaster SMRTV states:
These days for Serhat are full of music. Travelling between San Marino, France and Turkey, he has started his video clip shootings under a very fresh and modern concept, which bring us, right into the ‘heart beat’ of the song. Many hours of work, with partners beyond geographical borders, who share their passion for music, Serhat prepares his new 2019 sanmarinese entry. San Marino is scheduled to perform in the second half of Semi-Final 1 on Tuesday 14 May.

Serhat at Eurovision
Turkish singer, producer and television host Serhat Hacıpaşalıoğlu (Istanbul, 1964) represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden. With his disco-inspired entry I didn’t know he unfortunately did not go through to the Grand Final, placing 12th with 68 points at the first semi-final.
