That was it and Germany has now selected their song for Israel! The battle was strong and there would be only one survivor… And it’s finally Sisters who snatched the victory and the country’s ticket to Tel Aviv!

Live from the German capital Berlin, we enjoyed a spectacular 2-hour show, with surprises and glamorous guests, hosted by Barbara Schöneberger and Linda Zervakis. But before this, there was a long-term procedure which had been going on for months now, with countless hours of preparation for both the contestants and the show’s producer.

The 7 acts which reached the live show dared to dream and tried their best on stage, in the hope of the German Eurovision representation. The result was supposed to emerge by three voting groups, these being the viewers at home, a 100-member Eurovision panel, as well as an expert international jury panel, all equally contributing to the eventual outcome.

With the time’s passing, the tension for the candidates and the public was getting even higher. Until the clear verdict was unveiled: Sisters are the show’s winner and thus  will fly the German flag on the stage in Tel Aviv!

Germany, as a member of the Big 5, has already secured a spot at the Eurovision Grand Final on 18 May.
