Crash Boom Bang! What a night tonight in Hungary! Budapest offered us a great show with four more acts advancing to the Grand final. Is the Hungarian representative in Tel Aviv among these qualifiers?

What a busy night indeed. A Dal 2019 went live from Hungary with the second semi final. Nine acts battled on stage, but only four qualified to the Grand Final thanks to the combined vote of the jury and the televote. They are:

• Gergő Szekér – Madár, repülj!
• Bogi Nagy – Holnap
• Joci Pápai – Az én apám
• Fatal Error – Kulcs

The public alone decided the fourth qualifier, which tonight was Fatal Error with Kulcs.

Therefore, five acts are saying goodbye to their hopes to represent Hungary at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Israel. They are:

• Nomad – A remény hídjai
• Mocsok 1 Kölykök – Egyszer 
• Gergő Oláh – Hozzád bújnék
• Timi Antal feat. Gergő Demko – Kedves Világ!  
• Ruby Harlem – Forró

A Dal 2019

Tonight’s qualifier will join the four qualifiers of the first semi final in the Hungarian national final, which will take place on Saturday 23 February.

The winner of A Dal 2019 will represent Hungary in Tel Aviv. Hungary will perform in the first half of the first semi final on Tuesday 14 May.
