2018’s representative from the United Kingdom SuRie is ready to jump back on stage. After an energetic performance at Eurovision in Lisbon, the 29 year-old artist from Essex will perform at Pride in London this coming weekend.
Do you remember the stage invader at 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon? Well, in that occasion the UK’s representative SuRie showed Europe and Australia that she is a fighter. She also fights for equality, as she has a busy Pride calendar for her Eurovision aftermath.
SuRie performed at her first Pride event only a few weeks after Eurovision 2018, appearing at Birmingham Pride last month. Two more Pride events are on her list: London (7 July) and Hull (21 July).

Eurovision 2018
SuRie, stage name of Susanna Marie Cork, represented the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. With her pop-anthem Storm she placed 24th in the Grand Final with 48 points.
Although SuRie’s performance was disturbed by a political activist who snatched the microphone from her hands, she powerfully completed Storm on stage, much to the acclaim of the audience. SuRie received many compliments for her resilience and strength.
