An unexpected collaboration? San Marino’s 2016 representative, Serhat, unveiled a re-release of his 2004 single, Total disguise, featuring perhaps one of the most ultimate Eurovision winners in recent years: Helena Paparizou.

We have seen plenty of former Eurovision stars collaborating over recent years following their participation in the competition: from JOWST’s many projects to Norma John and Kasia Moś from 2017, more collaborative projects are expected over the coming months.

One new release comes from a collaboration between Eurovision artists from 2 separate years, and they’re probably a duo you wasn’t expecting.

You’ve read that right! San Marino’s 2016 representative, Serhat, has unveiled his newest single with the winner of the 2005 competition, Helena Paparizou.

The single is a re-release of Serhat’s 2004 single, Total disguise, which was originally performed alongside the host of the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest, Viktor Lazlo, with the single continuing with its Eurovision connection.
