Yeah! Another Sunday night, another semi-final of Selecția Națională is about to take place in a Romanian city. Tonight sees the 2nd semi-final of the country’s 2018 national selection, with 12 acts participating.

What are we going to witness tonight?
This Sunday, the show will be hosted in the Romanian city of Timişoara at the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu” venue.
Hosting the show will, once again, be Diana Dumitrescu and Cezar Ouatu, whilst this week’s green room correspondent will be Doriana Talpeș, a TVR Timișoara presenter.

From the 12 participating hopefuls, just 3 will qualify to the final, which will take place on 25 February in Bucharest. The 12 tonight’s competing acts are the following:

And the guests?
Tonight’s semi-final will be opened by the Portuguese-born Ricardo Caria, who will sing last year’s Eurovision winning song, Amar pelos dois. However, this is not to going to be his only appearance, as he is set to perform a song dedicated to the 2018 Eurovision host city, Lisbon at the end of the show.
When it comes to the interval acts, Neda Ukraden, the best-sold Serbian artist will also take to the stage, as well as Lavinia Răducanu and Timişoara’s rock band Cargo, who will perform their brand new song I call on you.
