Belarus has revealed the finalists who will compete to represent their country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

Live auditions have been held all day today in the Minsk offices of BTRC, the Belarusian national broadcaster, in which all participants performed for a place in the national final of the country’s selection.

From the 93 applications, the jury have narrowed it down to 11 acts that will take part in the televised national final.

The rules state that there could be a maximum of 15 acts that move forward to the final, however the jury has chosen a total of 11 acts to go through. Last year, 13 acts performed in the final.

The national final for Belarus will take place before the 1 March and will be broadcast on BTRC. The winner will be decided by a 50/50 mix of jury and audience voting.
