At the opening of the 2017 Flower Expo Ukraine in Kyiv, the winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Jamala, baptized her very own tulip.

Springtime may now be celebrated with the beautiful Tulip Jamala, a flower with warm golden, orange and red hues.

The Tulip Jamala was especially created by Dutch company StoKolex from Dirkshorn, the Netherlands. StoKolex specializes in the cultivation and export of tulips, and other flowers, for the Eastern European market. Following the opening of the 2017 Flower Expo Ukraine, held in the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) in Kyiv, on Tuesday 21 March 2017, the tulip was officially presented to Jamala, who baptized the flower.

The organization of the Flower Expo Ukraine support the initiative of StoKolex, and are very honoured to have welcomed Jamala at the Expo. They also celebrate the fact that the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will take place at the same venue as the Expo, the International Exhibition Centre.

Jamala was very honoured and joyful that StoKolex chose to name a tulip after her. The singer shared on Facebook
