Eurovision fever has hit the majestic Russian capital Moscow. All is set and ready in sunny Moscow as rehearsals are well under way for next week's grand Eurovision Song Contest extravaganza. Journalists, delegations , fans and participating aritsts are being welcomed with the best of Russian hospitality.

The Welcome reception of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Euroclub promising to be an extraordinary and extravagant party. Last night journalists and delegates were able to enjoy several parties: FYR Macedonia, Iceland, Bulgaria, Turkey. Tonight the Euroclub will be grooving again as one of the most anticipated parties this year will be held: The Greek- Cypriot party.

Russian Channel One should be complimented for their efficiency and great organization of the Eurovision Song Contest. Everything is running smoothly at the Press Center which this weekend expects a mass exodus of jounalists arriving just before the 1st Eurovision Song Contest Semifinal. Shuttle buses have been organized for accredited fans and media to transport them to and from their hotels-venues, hotels-Euroclub, Euroclub to Venue and vice versa.

You can feel that both spring and Eurovision have arrived in Moscow. Eurovision Billboards depicting Miss Russia and advertising this mega event can be seen all around the city as well as Eurovision flags.
