Just days before she leaves to Moscow, to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest with her duo Noa, Mira Awad releases today a new single from her upcoming solo album.
The song is called 'Anan' (a Cloud) and is her first single as a soloist. The song is from her upcoming album, named in Arabic 'Bahalwan' (an Acrobat). Ten songs are included in thealbum, sung in English and Arabic, most of them penned by Awad herself. One of the tracks in the album is a remix of 'There Must Be Another Way' – the entry with which Mira will perform with Noa on stage in Moscow, on behalf of Israel. Listen to 'Anan' here. Mira & Noa will sing for Israel as song number 10, in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest's first semifinal, on May 12th.
