The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest has been nominated with the prestigious Rose D’or Award.

Stockholm played host to the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest and excelled in every way in terms of organization and production.

SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster and the City of Stockholm worked earnestly and round the clock to bring about one of the best Eurovision editions ever. The 2016 ESC was indeed a dazzling, entertaining and exciting event and live tv show.

We must not forget that Stockholm welcomed the Eurovision Song Contest for the 3rd time in Eurovision history and it was the 6th time Sweden hosted the mega musical extravaganza.

The 2016 ESC has received a nomination for a Rose d’Or Award in the entertainment category. The Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held next September in Berlin.

The 2016 ESC was held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
