Congratulations Anouk! The Dutch artist, who represented the Netherlands at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

Jelizah Rose is Anouk‘s sixth child, and her first baby together with her partner, basketball player Dominique Schemmekes. Anouk (41) and Dominique (21) are of course overjoyed with the birth of the healthy baby girl, as the singer revealed on Facebook and Instagram:

Anouk has five other children: sons Benjahmin Kingsley, Elijah Jeremiah and daughter Phoenix Ray with rapper Postman (Remon Stotijn), son Josiah Dox with rapper Unorthadox (Robert Coenen) and son Sion Jethro with basketball player Seraino Dalgliesh. Jelizah Rose is Anouk’s second daughter. The artist has always expressed the wish to have a large family, but has also stated that this will be her final child, after complications and suffering various miscarriages in the past years.

ESCToday congratulates Anouk and Dominique, and wishes them all the best!

Anouk (Den Haag, 1975) represented the Netherlands at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, with the dark ballad Birds. Birds was a departure from the regular style of the artist, who is known for her powerful rock songs and rock ballads. Anouk reached the Grand Final, eventually earning a respectable 9th place with 114 points.
