Soraya, one of the hot favourites to represent Spain at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow has released the official preview video of her entry La noche es para mi. The Spanish artist will be competing in the Spanish Eurovision 2009: El Retorno 2nd Semifinal next Saturday. Her song has been given much publicity and coverage in Spain.
Soraya, who is a multi talented artist, shot to fame in Spain when she competed in the Operación Triunfo talent show. The very same show that launched the careers of Rosa, Chenoa, David Bustamante, David Bisbal and Beth. Three former SpanishEurovision representatives were chosen from Operación Triunfo talent show: Rosa (Spain 2002), Beth (Spain 2003) and Ramón (Spain 2004).
Soraya speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Her latest album Sin miedo was released few months back and includes her bidding entry La noche es para mí. The album has enjoyed both success and popularity among Spanish fans. It has been released in Spain by Vale Music. Soraya's entry has gained much publicity and coverage on various Spanish television channels and radio stations.
Soraya will be competing next Saturday the 21st ofFebruaryin the 2nd Spanish Eurovisión 2009: El Retorno semifinal. The show will be aired live at 22.30 CET on TVE1 and TVE International Europe (via satellite).
