Tonight Latvia will select it's Eurovision Song Contest 2003 participant in Eirodziesma 2003. 15 contestants will enter, as well as three spare songs. For the last ones there won't be a voting.
Our Latvian editor Aija Medinika will be present live in the Olympic Hall in Venspilts where the event will start at 19:00 local time (18:00 CET). The final, hosted by Ilze Jaunalksne and Girts Licis, can be followed live on the official website of the event, eirovizija.lv.
The Ukrainian representer Oleksandr Ponomaryov will be one of the guest artists performing one of his recent hits. The Polish representative for the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest, Ich Troje, will perform their song. The Israeli singer Lior Narkis will not be present due to booking problems.
