The Slovenian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 was selected in the country´s national selection. ManuElla will defend the entry Blue and red in the 2nd semifinal in Stockholm.
ManuElla stood up among the participants in EMA 2016 and was chosen to fly the Slovenian flag in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, beating fellow superfinal qualifier Raiven. She will perform Blue and red in Sweden, competing for a place in the Grand Final.

Slovenia is still in search for its first Eurovision victory. The best result to date has been a 7th position, obtained twice, in 1995 with Darja Švajger and 2001 with Nuša Derenda.
