The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest Welcome Reception and Red Carpet Ceremony will be held at Stockholm’s City Hall on Sunday 8 May.

On Sunday 8 May the Mayor of Stockholm will welcome the delegations/artists from the 43 competing countries in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest at the Welcome Reception/ Opening Ceremony and will officially kick off the 2016 ESC in Stockholm.

Just before the Welcome Reception the accredited press and media will be able to interview and interact with the 43 competing acts at the Red Carpet.

Stockholm is gearing up for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The city is all set to dress up for the ocassion.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globen Arena in Stockholm.
