The shortlist of 19 participants that qualified to Switzerland’s Expert Check has been revealed. It will take place on 6 December at 13:00 CET and will be transmitted live on srf.ch/eurovision. Six out of the 19 will qualify to the Swiss national final that will be held on 13 February.

The candidates are:

SRF/RTR (German) – 10 candidates, 3 to qualify:

1. Erica Arnold – Ich bin ich
2. Vincent Gross – Half a smile
3. Samuel Tobias Klauser – Asking me why
4. Maika – The reason
5. Platzhirsch – Holz vor dr hütta
6. Rykka – The last of our kind
7. Stanley Miller – Feel the love
8. Patric Scott feat. Abdullah Alhussainy – No boundaries
9. Sunanda – Ooops!?!
10. Evelyn Zangger – Have a little faith in me

RTS (French) – 6 candidates, 2 to qualify:

1. Bella C – Another world
2. Gina von Glasow – Left with an idiot
3. Kaceo – Disque d’or
4. Loic Schumacher – Génération demain
5. Stephanie Palazzo – Perché mi guardi cosi?
6. Stephanie Sandoz – Flashback

RSI (Italian) – 3 candidates, 1 to qualify:

1. Nathalie Cadlini – Share love
2. Elias – Elephant
3. Theo – Because of you

It is noteable that three foreigners have made it to the shortlist – Maika and Stanley Miller come from Spain and Loic Shumacher comes from Belgium. Patric Scott has previously participated in the Swiss finals of 2012.

The six qualifiers will take part in Die Grosse Entscheidungsshow, the Swiss final, that will be held in Kreuzlingen on 13 February. The winner will represent Switzerland in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
