Ukraine: Zlata Ognevich back in the recording studio

Zlata Ognevich, most known for representing Ukraine at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, has in recent weeks returned to the recording studio following her election into parliament back in 2014.

Back in October last year, Zlata Ognevich’s musical career was briefly put on hold following the 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election in which the singer was elected into parliament. However in recent weeks, the Gravity singer has since made a return to the studios in order to record some new material. Although a date for any new releases has not been specified, some new Zlata-music is expected to be unveiled in the near future.

More recently, Zlata was invited to appear at a Kiev-based concert where she surprised the audience with her own rendition of the worldwide hit, At last. Check out a clip of Zlata’s most recent performance below!

Zlata Ognevich was selected to represent Ukraine at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Malmö, Sweden. With her entry Gravity, Zlata qualified to the Grand Final from the first semi-final where she received a final score of 214 points, ending in third place.
