The national final season for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 draws to a close this weekend with nine songs yet to be chosen or revealed.

We know that Montenegro will be waiting until next weekend to reveal their song to the public, whilst it remains to be seen when Russia, Australia, San Marino and Albania will present their songs.

What we do know is that we will be guaranteed at least four new songs this weekend, three of which coming from national finals.

Friday

[Austria] Austria: Wer singt für Österreich final

After three weeks of shows that have seen 16 candidates narrowed to six, and then an expert panel choosing a final song for each act, we now reach the final.

The finalists will battle it out to represent Austria on home soil in May, with the winner being chosen by a split public and jury vote.

Saturday

[Norway] Norway: Melodi Grand Prix 2015 final

800 songs were submitted to the Norwegian broadcaster, NRK, who has managed to shortlist them to 11 finalists.

The finalists will perform in the Oslo Spektrum in hopes of flying the Norwegian flag at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, and the public will have the full say in the vote.
NRK has also reintroduced a live orchestra to the competition for the first time in 17 years.

[Sweden] Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2015 final

The final of Sweden’s biggest television show takes place this weekend as the country selects its song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.
After four semi-finals and a second chance round, we now have our 12 finalists, however only one will win the chance to represent the country this May.

As per usual, the winner will be decided by a combination of a public and international jury vote.

Sunday
