The happy doctor from Malta, will be making a return and will be competing to represent Malta in Vienna!

Gianluca Bezzina along with 5 of his other 6 siblings, have submitted a song to the MESC (Malta Eurovision Song Contest) 2015 under the stage name ‘L-Aħwa’ which means ‘the siblings’ in Maltese. Their entry was penned by a team of foreign songwriters that are no strangers to the Eurovision Song Contest with many successes in recent years.

Gianluca wasn’t allowed to take part last year due to the one-year ban rule which in the case of 2015 prevents Firelight from taking part.

We will know if Gianluca will make the final 20 or not, on Friday 3rd October during the tv show Xarabank.

The MESC 2015 will take place on Friday 21st November and Saturday 22nd November 2014.

Gianluca represented Malta in 2013 and achieved 8th place with 120 points in the final with Tomorrow written by Boris Cezek and Dean Muscat.
