Eldar Gasimov, the 2011 Azerbaijani Eurovision winner and the 2013 Ukrainaian Eurovision representative  Zlata Ognevich have joined forces to sing a duet together- Ice and Fire.

The former Eurovision stars- Eldar and Zlata Ognevich will premiere their forthcoming duet melody Ice and Fire on the 9th of August in Ukraine, whilst the premiere of the song will be held shortly after in Azerbaijan. The song will be released as a single. An international team led by famous Ukrainian composer and producer Mikhail Nekrasov is behind the production of the entry. The song has been  written by Azerbaijani Empire Music Entertainment  (EME) team – Sarhan Muradov Orhan Bagirov and Eldar himself., whilst the lyrics have been written by Igor Shavrov and Yevgeny Matyushenko. Mikhail Nekrasov has been the man responsible for the sound production of the song.

Zlata Ognevich represented Ukraine at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry Gravity achieving a 3rd place in Malmo, whilst Eldar co represented Azerbaijan at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with Nikki (Nigar Jamal), giving Azerbaijan (The Land of  Fire) its very first Eurovision victory in Dusseldorf with Running Scared.
