Ireland: Charlie McGettigan in concert

In 1994 the Eurovision Song Contest was won by the duo Charlie McGettigan and Paul Harrington with the song Rock ‘n’ Roll Kids making that their historic third win in a row.

As the years have passed Charlie’s popularity hasn’t decreased and he is always in demand. He has many strings to his bow as he is not only a musician but a story teller with his own particular style which audiences find very appealing. He has written for well known Irish artists and has many albums to his name.

On Saturday 26 July he is appearing he is appearing at the Seamus Ennis Centre in Naul, just 35km from Dublin. With him will be two very accomplished American country and bluegrass artists, coincidentally both called Gary Ferguson (Gene and Alan being their respective middle names).

If you are gong to be in the area you can be in the audience for the show. Tickets cost €18 and can be purchased at the venue.
