Hungary: András Kállay-Saunders shines bright after Eurovision

The 2014 Hungarian Eurovision representative András Kállay-Saunders has gained much fame, name and success on home soil since his return from the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. 

Kallay won the 2014 Hungarian Eurovision national final with his entry Running, thus winning the right to represent Hungary at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. He took Europe by storm in Copenhagen, when he achieved a 5th place at the grand final of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with his entry. Kallay gave Hungary its 2nd best placing in the Eurovision Song Contest since its debut in 1994 when Frederika Bayer achieved an honorable 4th placing in the event.

The Hungarian star has a very hectic and busy schedule giving concerts, attending award ceremonies and making television appearaces in his homeland Hungary. He is all set to conquer his Austrian fans in the coming days when he’ll be treating them with a concert. Kallay will be giving a special concert on Friday 27 June in Graz.

He has been nominated in various Music Award events, namely he recently attended the VIVA COMET Awards and the BRAVO OTTO Awards in Budapest, Hungary. He won the BEST SONG Award at the BRAVO OTTO Awards for his Eurovision entry Running.
