In a recent video interview with A Dal Vlog, 2014 Hungarian representative András Kállay-Saunders talks about the importance of performing with his band.

Somebody who feels the music knows that it’s a lot different when you have live instruments that surround you, Kallay said in the interview, referring to his band. I’m not a pop star at all. I think there’s a lot more in me than a pop star.

In the video, we’re also treated to a few live performance clips, including a snippet of a live band performance of Running, his 2014 Eurovision entry. You can watch the interview in its entirety below, along with a number of other video interviews with Kallay as he prepares for the contest.

In a recent interview with esctoday, Kallay also talked about the important message his song Running brings to Europe.

Kallay Saunders will represent Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.  He and his entry Running were selected in February after winning the Hungarian vote from A Dal, the Hungarian national selection program. Kallay will first perform on the 6 May for the first semi-final.
