Attempts that missed the final

Although Serbia’s folk ballads proved to be a guarantee for success, the country missed out on the final of the contest two times, but only by a small margin. In 2010, Marko Kon & Milaan finished at the 10^th spot in their semi-final, but at that time, the juries decided the 10^th country to go through to the finals and it was not the Serbian entry. In 20013 the girl band Moje 3 finished in the 11^th position in their semi- final, which was not enough to qualify. In 2010 and 2011 Milan Stanković and Nina both reached the mid table of the final results with a respective 13^th and 14^th position.
