Michael Flatley, the creator and choreographer of the Riverdance, the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest interval act, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Irish Post Business Gala Dinner & Awards 2013.

The awards were held on 31 October 2013 in London and Flatley was the guest of honour on the night. He was honored with the award for his entrepreneurship but he became famous when he invented the Riverdance and choreographed it as an interval act in 1994. The annual awards honour the most successful Irish entrepreneurs and businessmen in Britian. Speakers also included Allister Heath, Niall O’Dowd and Eamonn Holmes.
