Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath endorses Armenia

Tony Iommi, co-writer of the Armenian entry in Eurovision Song Contest and guitarist with legendary British metal band Black Sabbath has officially endorsed the Armenian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest, Lonely Planet, and encouraged fans to vote for the song.

Black Sabbath first formed in 1968 and although they have gone through multiple line up changes since their inception, Iommi has been the sole continual member. The band continue to write and perform today, with new album 13 being released this summer and also the band are in the middle of a world tour at the moment, which will come to Europe at the end of this year. They are often cited as one of the most influential bands of all time, and were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

The song will be performed by Dorians in the second semi final in Malmö on Thursday 16 May 2013.
