Spain: Contigo hasta el final videoclip released

TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster has released the official videoclip of the 2013 Spanish Eurovision entry Contigo hasta el final. The Spanish entry’s videocliop was premiered today  at 20:45 CET on the official TVE website and on + Gente tv show  on TVE1.

El Sueño de Morfeo will represent Spain at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with Contigo hasta el final.

Raquel Del Rosario, the lead singer of the 2013 Spanish Eurovision group El Sueño De Morfeo revealed few backs  via her official Twitter account that the official video clip of the Spanish Eurovision entry Contigo hasta el final would be  filmed in Asturias.

Spanish newspaper elcomercio.es reported that the Spanish Eurovision 2013  hopefuls were in Asturias few weeks back filming for the official videoclip of theie Eurovision entry. The preview video has been filmed in various Asturian locations showcasing the Spanish region’s scenic beauty, breathtaking landscapes and amazing monuments. Parts of the  videoclip have been filmed in the Asturian town of Llanes, and on the shores of the Astuarian Celorio beaches. Pedro Castro has directed the official videoclip of the Spanish entry. The Asturian bagpipe (la Gaita), a traditional Asturian musical instrument is feautured throughout the videoclip.

Raquel del Rosario plays a key role in the video, where she appears dressed in a beige outfit in a church, shes then picturised against  the green landscapes of Asturias and horse riding.

Spain selected El Sueño de Morfeo to represent Spain at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest via an internal selection, whilst the 2013 Spanish entry was selected during as special televised gala last week via a 50/50 public- televoting deliberation.

Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the event twice in 1968 with Massiel and in 1969 with Salome. The Spaniards have been runner up in the contest a total of 4 times in 1971, 1973 1979 and in 1995.
