The debut album from the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest winner Loreen is now available to pre-order with some online retailers. The album, believed to be called Heal, will be released by Warner Music Sweden on October 24th.
Loreen’s follow-up single for Euphoria has been revealed as My heart is refusing me. The song took part in the Swedish national selection show Melodifestivalen last year, and became a bit hit in her native Sweden. The new, international version was premiered on a Finnish televised charity gala recently. See the performance below:
While in Finland, Loreen was talking to a Finnish newspaper, Ilta-Sanomat. She said that her life has been very hectic since winning Eurovision. I am involved in the whole process, take part in marketing by giving interviews etc., but I am enjoying it all, the singer born in Västerås, and with a Moroccan heritage told the paper.
When talking about her forthcoming album, she said the following: I have told everybody to expect the unexpected. My album will surprise. It will have a very much darker tone than most would expect, Loreen concludes.
Loreen has also been nominated as the best Swedish act for the MTV Video Music Awards in Frankfurt, Germany later this year. The online vote is now open on the Swedish MTV site.
