Albanian Eurovision stars release new singles

Several former Albanian Eurovision representatives have released new songs. Aurela Gaçe and Ledina Celo come up with uptempo songs, while Kejsi Tola participated at Top Fest with a ballad. Juliana Pasha won the first edition of X Factor Albania as a mentor of the singer Sheila Haxhiraj. Moreover, this year’s Albanian participant, Rona Nishliu, is currently representing the country in a festival in St. Petersburg (Russia).

 

Rona Nishliu has the honour to represent Albania again with her entry ‘Suus’ at the international music festival “White nights of St.Petersburg 2012”. The 20th edition of this festival is taking place from 6 till 8th of July 2012. Rona won tonight the first round of this festival and will compete tomorrow again in the second round. Some of this year’s guests in the festival are Joss Stone, Natalie Imbruglia, Tony Hadley, David Hasselhoff and Anastacia.

Aurela Gaçe, who represented Albania at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, has released a new videosong called ‘Boom Boom Boom’. Aurela’s ethno up tempo song is written by Dr. Flori and Edlir Begolli.

The Albanian representative in Eurovision 2005, Ledina Celo, came this year again with an upbeat song. ‘Can you touch me baby’ is a collaboration between Ledina and the German producers Scotty & Oliver Flote. The song has already entered several European dance music charts.

Kejsi Tola, who had the honour to represent her country in Eurovision 2009 in Moscow, was part of the Albanian music festival Top Fest 9. Kejsi participated at this year’s edition of Top Fest with a power ballad titled ‘Atje’ and qualified for the semifinal.

Early this month the final of the first edition of X factor Albania was held in Tirana. Juliana Pasha, the artist who represented Albania at Eurovision 2010 won the first edition of X factor Albania as a mentor of the singer Sheila Haxhiraj. Juliana performed together with the winning singer during the big final. In a previous show, Juliana performed her Eurovision entry ‘It’s all about you’ for the audience of X Factor Albania.
