Things are heating up in Lithuania as the Baltic country is all set for show 2 of its Eurovision selection Eurovizija 2019.

Heat 2 of Eurovizija 2019 a.k.a. Eurovizijos Atranka 2019 will take place this evening in Lithuania. Following last week’s exciting first show, heat 2 will see the next group of artists vying for a spot in the semi-finals to eventually compete for the ticket to Tel Aviv.

Broadcaster LRT will deliver another riveting show, hosted by Gabrielė Martirosianaitė and Giedrius Masalskis.

Heat 2 was pre-recorded and so the professional jury votes are already cast. Yet, tonight the viewing public will see the performances for the first time and will add their vote to the jury results, leading to a definite 50/50 result.

Tonight’s qualifying acts will join the qualifyers of heat 1, Aldegunda, Glossarium, Migloko, MaNNazz, Šarūnas Mačiulis and Twosome, in the semi-finals of Eurovizija 2019.

Lithuania at Eurovision 2018

Ieva Zasimauskaitė (Kaunas, Lithuania, 1993) won Eurovizijos Atranka 2018 and subsequently represented Lithuania at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. With the enchanting ballad When we’re old she eventually reached a decent 12th place in the Grand Final, receiving 181 points.
