Rapper Kempi collaborated with Dutch rock diva Anouk for his latest track No love.
Anouk delivers Dutch-language vocals to No love by Dutch-Curaçaoan rapper Kempi (Jerreley Zanian John Slijger), produced by Project Money and released by TopNotch Music. The track tells about a couple’s destructive yet intense relationship, tested by the struggles and tough times of life, even though they might be better off without each other.
No love is Anouk’s latest venture into Dutch-language lyrics, following her 2015 song Dominique, dedicated to her partner Dominique Schemmekes. She is currently working on her forthcoming album, which will be her first album entirely in Dutch.
Anouk shared a picture of her and Kempi on her Facebook-page:
The official music video for No love was directed by Marc de Groot, director of photography was Remko Schnorr, hair and make-up by Irena Ruben, edited by Tobias @ Bandit Amsterdam, production company was Witman Kleipool.
No love is available for digital download.
Anouk represented the Netherlands with her dark ballad Birds at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden. She reached a respectable 9th place in the Grand Final, receiving 114 points.
