The Eurovision celebration was back to the Baltics tonight. Lithuania delivered a solid national final to select their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. And we have a winner! It’s Ieva Zasimauskaitė with When we’re old!
It took six heat rounds and two semi-finals to determine the lineup of the grand final of Eurovizija 2018, the Lithuanian national final. Six acts competed in tonight’s final for the golden ticket to represent the Baltic country at the forthcoming Eurovision in Lisbon. As announced, the night saw the honourable presence of the Finnish representative Saara Aalto and Iceland’s entrant Ari Ólafsson.

The winner was decided by a combined vote of jury and televote. This is how it went (overall results):
After an exciting voting sequence, Ieva Zasimauskaitė with the song When we’re old was declared winner of Eurovizija 2018 and will therefore represent Lithuania in Eurovision 2018! Lithuania is set to compete in the first half of the first semi-final on 8 May.
