Earlier this week TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster, released the names of the 28 received entries for O melodie pentru Europa 2018. You can now listen to the acts!

Reaching the best result in Kiev since its debut, Moldova is aiming high at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon. Just a couple of days ago, TRM published the list of the submitted acts for O melodie pentru Europa 2018, the national selection to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

But wait, there is more!

However, a simple list with the names of the artists and the titles of the songs is not enough for the Eurofans. Therefore, the music tracks of the 28 songs have been published on the YouTube account of TRM.

Only 16 songs will take part to the national selection. The jury will entire decide the final line-up. The act that will represent Moldova in Lisbon will be decided with a combined 50/50 public-jury vote.

The semi-final of the Moldovan national selection is set to take place on the 22 February, in which 10 artists will proceed to the country’s final on the 24 February.

Moldova in Eurovision

Moldova debuted in Eurovision in 2005, with a total of 13 entries up to date.

The country reached an all-time best result at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev. The band SunStroke Project reached the third place in the Grand Final with the song Hey mamma!.
