The artists set to compete in the upcoming Slovenian national selection, EMA 2018, will be selected in only a matter of days.

In the coming days, no later than the 8 December, the expert commission will select the 16 of the 108 entries which will compete at the EMA 2018 selection.

The selection process, expected to happen towards the end of the week, will take place from Studio 1 of the Televizije Slovenija studios, where it is likely that the participants for EMA 2018 will also be presented for the first time.

EMA 2018 in February

The semi-finals and final of the national selection will be in February 2018, the winner of which will go on to represent Slovenia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

Sixteen songs will be presented in the semi-final stages of EMA 2018, in which only 8 of them will qualify for the final of the selection.

In the final, we will hear the 8 best where the winner will be chosen by a total of 6 jury members, to then be combined with the televoting results.
